|Interferential Current (IFC) is a deeper form of electrical stimulation that is used to treat both acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. IFC overcomes skin resistance more easily and penetrates the skin more deeply than regular electrical stimulators, with less user discomfort. Because IFC is tolerated better by the skin, the dosage can be increased, thus improving the ability of the Interferential Current to permeated tissues and allowing easier access to deep structures.
